Wedding Invitations -
There is no set rule of when to send your invitations out, but do give your guests plenty of time for them to make any arrangements before the big day. I would advise to send invitations no later than 12 weeks before your wedding. If you are inviting guests from abroad then give them plenty of time so they can book flights and accomodation. Invitations are traditionally sent by the hosts of the day. You will need 1 invitation per household and you may want to add an RSVP date as you cannot finalise the catering or seating arrangements until all guest have replied. Sending rsvp cards will also make this easier for your guests. Our rsvp cards come with printing of return address as standard at no extra cost.
Evening Invitations -
Are used to invite guests to the Evening Celebration only. They are usually sent out the same time as the Wedding Invitations
Place name cards/name tags
place name cards are placed on the wedding table for each guest with the guest names printed. These look gorgeous when designed to match your wedding invitations or wedding table stationery
Table menus
Ideally you should have 2 table menus per table to let your guests know what delicious food will be served on the wedding day-table menus are also made to match your wedding invitations
Reply Cards/rsvp cards-
These are sent out with all invitations to allow a quick response from your guests and are supplied with envelopes. These are not a necessity but very useful and will make your guests reply to the invitation sooner
Thank you cards -
Are a polite way to say thank you to all guests for the gifts received. Remember to include those that could not attend the wedding
Order of Service Booklets/Mass booklets
These inform your guests of what to expect during the service or the days celebrations. They are given out when entering the venue by the Ushers and Best Man. You can allow one per guest and extra for the choir and clergy or alternatively just one order of service for 2 people would be plenty. All Order of Service information should be checked by the vicar prior to ordering. Once confirmed just let us know the details.
Reception seating plans/wedding table plan
Your Wedding Seating Plan lets your guests know which table they will be sat at. Table plans allow you to choose who sits where and who sits with who. The main function of a table plan is to offer a clear guidance to your guests, whatever the event or celebration.
Guest books
guests books are used for your guests to write a message on your wedding day-a little keepsake of your special day for you to read in years to come. Have your guest books personalized with name of bride and groom and date of wedding. See our guest book page for examples of designs
Post boxes
Fabulous idea- post boxes to keep your guests wedding cards all in one place at your venue. We also have vintage look bird cages which look very classy and something a little bit different. You could also have a basket to keep all the wedding cards together.
Favour boxes
a little treat for your guests. Favour boxes are filled with confectionery, either chocolate, almonds or anything you want to put in the little boxes. Also handmade to match your wedding stationery
